New York Law Enforcement Challenge Award Program

NY Law Enforcement Challenge

The New York Law Enforcement Challenge Awards Ceremony was held on October 21, 2014 at the Highway Safety Annual Fall Symposium in Lake Placid. The Law Enforcement Challenge is an innovative awards program sponsored by the International Association of Chiefs of Police and Governor's Traffic Safety Committee that annually recognizes outstanding performance and contributions in traffic safety. The program provides law enforcement agencies with an opportunity to make a difference in the communities they serve and allows agencies to learn from one another and establish future goals in traffic safety enforcement and education. The friendly competition between agencies of similar size and type focuses on national traffic safety priorities that include occupant restraint, impaired driving, speeding, and other specific state/or local traffic safety issues.
