MEDIA ADVISORY: ANNUAL CRACKDOWN ON DRUNK AND IMPAIRED DRIVING KICKS OFF IN ALBANY
On Thursday, August 18, the Governor's Traffic Safety Committee and invited guests will host a press conference in Albany to kick off New York State's "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" crackdown on drunk and impaired driving, which runs through Labor Day. This coordinated law enforcement campaign aims to reduce deaths and injuries caused by motorists driving drunk or impaired by drugs.
